Edgar was awarded a travel fellowship by the Genetics Society of America (GSA) to attend and present at the 30th Fungal Genetics Conference on March 12th-17th, 2019. He will describe his latest results on genetic transformation in Spizellomyces punctatus, a soil Chytrid.
